Forget about the sad bathtub and old times decor. It’s all about the BED! Fabulous cozy comfy bed! We stayed in room 32. The heat came on fast and the cozy comforter made everything perfect. Clean sparkly room. Cute quaint decor with a microwave and fridge. We will make this our new stop on our way from Oregon to Sun City. Perfect

Great little place. Right off the highway made easy access. We actually drove right past it the first time into town. Rooms are clean. Service was great. Definitely would stay again when we return to the area.

Paying a little was well worth it. Room was excellent and didn't have to wait half the night for the mini fridge to cool down. They supplied the coffee.

Conveniently located on our route from Yosemite to Lake Tahoe, this hotel was a great find. The rooms were spotless, and the lady at the reception welcomed us with genuine warmth. Perfect for a comfortable and hassle-free one-night stay.

We checked in kinda late so we appreciated that the process was quick and effortless - just rang the doorbell and the desk clerk was right there. Our trip was made on the fly and we didn't look for accommodations until the last minute - apparently we booked what appeared to be the last bed available in all of Bridgeport, so we were grateful that we ended up at the Redwood Motel. We had a nice stay overnight and were very comfortable. It was easy enough to keep the temperature of our room (window air conditioner) pleasant once we realized that the heat was still on and adjustable with a thermostat on the wall. The room looked dated, but honestly it fit right in with the outdoor decor and adds to the quaintness, quirkiness & rustic aesthetic of this hotel. The appearance didn't affect our stay - everything functioned properly, was very clean and was comfortable. Our beds and pillows were soft and the blankets were adequate. There was a mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker in the room and we didn't have any trouble with them or the flat screen television with remote. I liked that the bathroom had a bathtub instead of just a shower - I don't have a tub at home so being able to take a bubble bath in a clean tub was like a luxury! It was very quiet & peaceful outside all night... I spent some time sitting in the deck chairs providing next to each door. There's some pretty neat yard ornaments and decorations all over the place, check them out if you have some time! Best of all, the Redwoods Motel is mere minutes away from Travertine Hot Springs, making it's location excellent if you plan on visiting them. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bridgeport!

Second time staying here and it was just as nice this time. The staff at check in was friendly and made me feel welcome. The rooms are clean and everything worked. I talked about my going to the hot springs and was given a towel to take with me. Price was good, especially for Bridgeport and I liked that I could park outside my room.

Pinnacle of cleanliness. Best price value around. One of the most comfortable motel beds I’ve ever stayed in. Shower was hot and great water pressure. Kind staff. Great to support private run businesses. Highly recommend. Glad we stayed.
